To book your session

Have your calendar at hand, have your credit card number handy, and call us at (757) 496-9288.

The Session

Our Sessions are outdoors. You will need to be available for two to three hours. All sessions are done at sunset.

Please arrive on time for the session in order to guarantee satisfactory results. Light is critical to our creativity.

A drape/tux portrait will be taken at our studio before we go outdoors with you. (Please check whether your school will allow you to use our drape/tux portrait as your yearbook photo prior to arriving at the session!)

Clothing

Bring a selection of your favorite clothes.
Solid colors only, in a variety of colors (green, blue, red, black, white, denim, etc.)
Bring some casual, some classic styles.
No sleeveless outfits, unless you wear jackets, sweaters or long sleeve shirts with tank tops.
We’ll help you to choose the three most appropriate and appealing outfits.

Hair

We are not responsible for your hair and will recommend no new styles.
Your hair should, however, be clean.

Make-up (girls)

We will assist you with make up. Please come only with a light base.

Blemishes

Don’t worry. We will take care of them.

Sunburns

Do not sunburn. It will make you look splotchy.

Nails

Your hands will be visible in the portraits, so please groom your nails or have them nicely manicured.

Shoes

Your shoes will not be in the portrait. Wear flip flops to the beach, if you choose.

72-hours notice is required to reschedule a session or to receive a refund for a session cancellation.


Portrait Selection

Appointments

You will need to make an appointment for every visit to the studio.
Please be on time for your appointment.

Decision makers

Bring everyone who is involved in making the decision for your order (spouse, parents, etc.).
Remember, you won't be taking any preview photos home. Your choice will be made at our offices, and the right choice will mean years of priceless memories.

Order

Be prepared to place your order at the preview appointment.

Wall size

We recommend that you measure the size of the wall where you plan to display your portrait, and tell us the size.

Please note:

Due to the size of our business, and to the customer-oriented way we run our business, we are only able to offer one preview/order appointment per senior.

If parents of students are no longer together, they may schedule separate preview/order appointments, if preferred. A $50 fee is charged for any preview/order appointment beyond the first.
